There sure has been some great times this summer. This night was definitely one of those good nights. My ears are still ringing a bit from Grizzlys DJ-ing and my cheeks still hurt from his group serenade. Have fun in Colorado and stay in touch brother!

These Are the Breaks

What do you get when you have Rod’s garage, a bunch of spray paint, a briefcase of old break dance music, and a day full of cold beer?

Going In

It sure was nice to get my feet in some sand and swallow a bit of that Atlantic saltwater. This pic was taken at the 16th street public beach entrance in Cocoa Beach Florida. Such a sweet runway into paradise.

July 4th Rules

The Cheney’s had us over for July 4th to watch their neighbors firework display. It was crazy. I have never seen a neighborhood display like this before. Here is a pic where one of the mortars exploded while they were launching them off. I’m pretty sure someone got hurt because of it.

Great Miami Kayak Trip
Posted by admin | Filed under Pictures, Reggae
Over the years I have been on numerous kayak trips, mostly orchestrated by the Godfather himself. And over the years we have had a blast on those trips. But this year and most specifically this last trip was hands down the best kayak trip I have ever been on. What was different you might ask. Everything, lets see here… The group of troopers we had was amazing, the weather was freaking perfect, the water was moving perfectly (fast), the deer that ran off of the island and swam through the channel, seeing an abandoned amusement park, Sheare free-styling so fast that we couldn’t keep up, troy making everyone of us feel like we could become lifeguards at any second, the rednecks with the random fireworks, the jet skis that flew by us 50 times, and instead of rolling the Little Miami like we have for years we rocked the Great Miami. Best trip to date. Thanks to everyone for coming that did and thanks for all the laughs and good times. Team rocket bombers just chalked another one up in the book of rad times.

Pool Guy For Hire
Posted by admin | Filed under Pictures, Reggae
Ok, here is my spiel. Recently I have been asked by a couple friends to watch their pool while they are out traveling the world. Me being the selfless person that I am, have gone out of my way to ensure that this pool will be in the same shape or better when they arrive home. This task might seem easy to the average joe but to me it is a duty that must be taken seriously. Sure, there are going to be late nights and long hours away from my home and family where my presence at the pool is necessary to make sure that nothing happens to the pools welfare. Any leaves or unknown material that fall into the pool is quickly removed and dispose of. After a couple days and night on duty staying out at the pool sometimes as late as 2am, I quickly realized that I am extremely good at what I am doing. Naturally I started thinking that I need to offer my services to others. So with this post, I am extending an invitation to all pool owners, that if you ever go out of town for vacation or business or whathaveyou, please know that there is a pool guy (me) awaiting your phone call to come and chill maintain your pool. You may now sleep easy knowing that the pool guy is on duty and has your backyard on lock down.
Sincerely,
The Pool Guy®

I am so excited for these dudes and their new summer pad. I was able to get over there for their first grill down and that back porch is going to be amazing this summer. Thanks guys for the food and the hospitality. Many good times are on the horizon. Cheers!

Come and Go

One of the cooler things I have seen lately happened the other day at the Wake Nation. Apparently while Audrey was operating the cable a Thursday ago, she threw the grappling hook dealio into the water to pull in a ski rope that had become disconnected form the cable system and when she pull the hook out of the water a pair of Midwest Shades came in as well. I remember last fall that specific pair of pink blockheads falling off of Jared’s head while trying a flippy twisty thing. I guess that pair of shades still had some more to give to the scene. It had been sitting on the bottom of the lake for 7+ months just waiting to see the sun shine again.
