I Just Had a BLT

This is my first attempt at shooting a HDR picture. The goal is to take three pictures; one with the correct exposure, one under exposed, and one over exposed, and then merge the three together like a BLT sandwich. My subject probably wasnt the best to do this on but when Willie Nelson stopped by the office and offered it up i didnt have the nerve to tell him to blow it out his ass.

so i had a big night last night. shortly after finishing my $2 totino’s frozen pizza, i discovered that I needed a nuclear reaction to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity to get my Delorean up to 88mph therefore making time travel possible. long story short i decided to head 25 years into the future and traveled to the gulf coast of florida. this is where it gets weird. i ended up finding belgium josh there fishing in speedos. who would have seen that coming? he also had a fan base and a personal fish grabbing assistant. i returned back to the present, hide the Delorean under the mini and sold the flux capacitor on craigslist. whatever.

gardner park is a prestigious park located in the heart of lockland and embodies the very spirit that contest promoters were looking for with this years “Butter Face® Snow Jam”. upon short notice, riders converged at the contest grounds in the afternoon hours of monday the 16th. the stage was set for a massive showdown that would end up rivaling the notorious hip-hop wars that lead to the demise of tupac and b.i.g. numerous years prior. in the end there were 2 riders left. these two warriors laid it all down on the line for the overzealous crowd of thousands. when it was time to award a winner, the judged deliberated for over an hour and to the surprise of the fans awarded it a tie. the prize purse was split and everyone got drunk and partied naked.
actually, it was just adam and i. we couldn’t get anyone else to come out and join us.

well, as of today it is official. for the 4th consecutive year, kendogg has been awarded the prestigious “Father of the Year Award” presented by myself. He has proved without a doubt that he can provide a ridiculous amount of fun and enjoyment to numerous hungry, half clothed, long haired, bengals cheering, chicago fire eating, skateboard riding, guitar playing, no life jacket wearing and ticket getting, leg cast getting and now im going to cut it off early because i want to, indie music listening, florida commuting kids. and he does it with style to spare. Snowing Balls

well we finally got the snow we didn’t ask for and people were taking 2-75 as if they were blind folded. once we eluded death and arrived at perfect north, it was nice for a change to do some carves and actually see some snow shoot up in the air rather than hearing that awful ice scraping noise. we also saw some people taking some real chances out there because of the soft landings and not working out in their favor. we also saw craig do a misty flip off the flat bar in the terrain park and ended up breaking his collar bone. all that excitement and all i got was this lousy picture of adam charging. hang in there craig.
