These songs are off Phoenix’s second album titled Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. So, If I was to be stranded on an Island and could only bring massive amounts of red bull and one album I would choose this album. Without the red bull I’m not sure what album I would bring. I waffled a bit on what song to post up and I almost randomly choose these two. great stuff.

Pomegranates is an Indie rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio. For what ever reason I seem to give music that is made around here a good thorough listen through. Rather than scrub through it real quick and move on I tend to take my time with it. Sometimes it works and I cant stop listening to it. (example Bad Veins) and sometimes it doesn’t. This is the other example. This album is quickly moving up on my “afraid I will listen to it too much and burn it out” list. I hate that list. Kid Cudi – day n night was on the top of that list and now I cant listen to that song anymore.

I as a boating weekend warrior always seem to question whether or not all the work getting everything in place and trekking down 75 for 3+ hours for a couple days is worth all the hassle and pain. Getting stuck in traffic, blown tires, ruined props, speeding tickets, rain, boat problems and sometimes massive hangovers can be the pain associated with weekend boat traveling. This trip we had a couple hurdles to get over but damn was it worth it. Sometimes you have to earn it and in the end you are rewarded.

we headed down to norris lake for quinn’s bachelor party. It was great seeing some old friends and perfect weather in the same place. Sorry about the neighbors yard. It should grow back next spring. Congrats q!

so we show up early at the cable park the other saturday in celebration for adam’s 22th birthday and low and behold who is standing there, none other than Joe Budde. Was good to see you dude. I like this picture, troy and budde chatting between crashes and adam in the background taking turn one.

had a blast at the fireworks down on the river this year. Its been a while since my last going and definitely brought back memories. Thanks to the Smith family for the hospitality and the parking pass. hahah.
