Not only does this song kick ass but so does this photo.
From wikipedia:
He was raised in an area known as “Cuba”, a micro ghetto within the heart of Kingston, Jamaica’s Cassava Piece community. The community was considered dangerous and Mavado was exposed to many different things in his youth. Mavado had two major influences in his life that made him want to pursue a career in music. His grandmother who raised him, brought him to church with her each Sunday, and this helped to ignite his love for music. What kept the flame burning was his second influence in his music; his idol, and current labelmate Bounty Killer.

Pass It Around – Come With Me

I have been listening to this album a lot this summer. His music reminds me of the beach, warm weather and sun set surf sessions. This is a song off his second album titled Pass It Around. His first album has a couple songs i like but this album I like all the songs.

The energy that this band puts out is amazing. This is my favorite song off their new and third album titled Swoon.

This is still my favorite reggae video to date. The combination of the soccer clips, the little man in the ride (0.48) and the cops pulling over Damien during his part. Damien crushed it on this song. I’m not sure what the hell they are talking about most of the time, but it really doesn’t matter. Pom, rom pa ba dom ba dom ba ba dom Babba dom ba dabba dom ba dom ba ba dom Pom, rom pa ba dom ba dom ba ba dom! Amazing!

I wasn’t too crazy about their older albums but have taken a real liking to their 2007 album release titled Chronicitis. 2am is the single off that album.
